Don Parsons, 65, of Angola, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2026, in Waterloo.
He was born on December 3, 1960, in Jonesville, Virginia.
Don married Melinda Sue High on January 17, 2001, in Auburn.
He was a machine operator for Indiana Steel Products in Waterloo for the past 24 years.
He devoted much of his life to his work, taking pride in giving his all each day. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things—coaching Little League Baseball, watching Street Outlaws, and going on long car rides on Saturdays and Sundays. He had a natural gift for making people laugh and loved sharing humor with everyone around him. Above all else, he cherished being a grandfather, a role that brought him his greatest happiness and pride.
Surviving are his wife of 25 years, Melinda Sue Parsons of Angola; three children, Josh Hart of Fort Wayne, Paige and Zachary Carnahan of Garrett, and Brody and Kadey Cooper of Auburn; and eight grandchildren, Gauge, Brookelynn, Paytynn, Zaylynn, Zachary, Pyper, Dralyn, and Duncan.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Earl Collins; mother, Emma Jean Messer; and a son, Coty Parsons.
A gathering of family and friends will take place from 4 – 6 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, IN 46706.
