Dorlas (Crager) Oliver

Waterloo – Dorlas Oliver, 85 of Waterloo passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.

She was born July 29, 1940 in Garrett, Kentucky to Melvin and Laura (Handshoe) Crager.

Dorlas worked at the former White’s Westwood in Auburn and Albright’s in Corunna.

She married the love of her life, Gary Oliver. He passed away on June 6, 2023.

She is survived by a son, Scott D. Oliver,of Auburn and a daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and David Sneary of Huntington; 7 grandchildren, Brent Carteaux, Brad Carteaux, Bryce Carteaux, Bruce Carteaux, Lindsay Sneary, Jessica (Paul) Ley and many great grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Bonnie and Earl Conley of Corunna and a brother, John (Cynthia Warstler) Crager of Auburn, sister-in-law, Deb Crager of Arizona and sister-in-law Nancy Crager of Kendalville, Indiana and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Kim Carteaux, grandson, Brock A Carteaux, daughter-in-law, Deb Oliver, siblings, Dorothy Mosley (Bill), Viola (Guadalupe) Morales, Steve Crager, Bernice Crager, Raymond (Betty) Crager, George Crager, Carlos Crager, Agnes (Henry) Bolyne, and Ann (Richard) Squires.

Services will be at 2 PM Thursday, January 8, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793 with burial to follow the service in Sedan Cemetery, Corunna. Visitation is 2 hours prior to the service Thursday from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home. The family asks that any memorials given in memory of Dorlas be directed to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
