Dorothy M. Webb, 95, of Waterloo, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at the Laurels of DeKalb Nursing Home in Butler.
She was born on Aug. 16, 1929, in Marble Rock, Iowa, to Leo and Ethel Ritter.
Clarence and Helen Shultz adopted Dorothy at a young age.
She co-owned and operated Webb Dog Shows and Webb Printing Company for several years, retiring in 2020.
Dorothy was a member of the Auburn Presbyterian Church.
She enjoyed reading, fishing, watching NASCAR and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Surviving are four children, Helen (Scott) Snellenberger of Angola, John Webb of Waterloo, Dianne Herzberg of Butler and Daphne Richmond of Hamilton; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Lynn Slauter of Detroit, Michigan, and Francis Pennington of Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her parents; adopted parents; former husband, Marion Webb; and a daughter, Lelia Lewis.
A memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 S. Wayne St., Waterloo, with the Rev. Dr. Robert Craig officiating.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 12, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
