Earl F. Jacquay, 63, of Warsaw, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2025, at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
He was born February 3, 1962, in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Howard and Joyce (Howes) Jacquay.
He was a 1981 graduate of St. Louis High School.
Earl was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps serving for 20 years.
Earl married Marcy Bell on May 22, 1982, at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Prince George, British Columbia Canada.
He was a self-employed construction worker. He enjoyed his job and the people that he worked for.
Earl was a member of the American Legion Post 97 of Auburn.
He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling, going out to eat, especially seafood, and would try anything. Earl never knew a stranger and loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Surviving is his wife of 42 years, Marcy Jacquay of Warsaw; two children, Jake (Katie Fruit) Jacquay of Warsaw, and Kelli (Michael) Hamilton of North Webster; seven grandchildren, Makayla Fruit, Brayden Jacquay, Hailey Jacquay, Maddox Fruit, Hunter Jacquay, Matthew Hamilton and Easton Hamilton; four siblings, William H. “Bill” (Kathy) Jacquay of Butler, Christal A. (Mike Roop) Busé of Auburn, Kenneth L. (Diane) Jacquay of Butler, and Vincent O. (Dawn) Jacquay of Butler; sister-in-law, Peggy Jacquay of Auburn; two brothers-in-law, Brad (Donna) Bell, Dwayne Bell; and a sister-in-law, Theresa (Kim) Cain, all three of Prince George, British Columbia Canada.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Jace Allen; two brothers, Kim Jacquay and Mark Jacquay; sister, Karen Jacquay; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jim and Joan Bell.
A celebration of Earl’s life will take place at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 25, 2025, at Bill and Kathy Jacquay's home on C.R. 71 in Butler. If anyone needs directions, please call or text Christal Busé at 260-413-9003.
Burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery at a later date.
