Earl Shumaker Obituary
Auburn – Earl Keith Shumaker, 66 of Auburn passed away Sunday April 13, 2025 at Parkview Randalia Hospital in Fort Wayne.
He was born December 5, 1958 in Maysville, Kentucky to Wayne S and Mary Francis (Dickson) Shumaker.
Keith worked at Parker Hannifin in Ashley for 40 years before retiring in September 2024. He was also a coach for the DeKalb Baron Girls Softball team for a number of years.
He is survived by a daughter, Krysten Shumaker of Garrett; grandson, Hunter Thacker of Garrett; 3 brothers, Daniel Shumaker of Angola, Dennis (Priscilla) Shumaker of Spring Branch, Texas and Mark Shumaker of Fort Myers, Florida and a special nephew, Darrin Harpenau of Angola.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Sandra McCormick and a niece Angelia Harpenau.
Services will be 2 PM Wednesday April 16, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN with burial to follow in Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna. Calling is Tuesday from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family askes that memorials be given in memory of Keith to the DeKalb High School Athletic Department or the American Cancer Society.
