Edward Charles Ruger, age 67, of Hamilton passed away on Saturday, January 1, 2022 at his Hamilton home.
Mr. Ruger was born on February 24, 1954 on Long Island, New York while his father was in the service. He was born to Edward A. and Margaret Joan (Knobeloch) Ruger.
He married Ruth Hunt on August 21, 1981 in Paulding, Ohio. She preceded him in death on April 7, 2011.
Mr. Ruger worked for BF Goodrich in Woodburn for 46 years retiring in June of 2021. He was very active in the United Steelworkers Union, Local 715 holding several offices and leadership rolls over the years. He enjoyed watching TV, especially westerns. Ruth was the love of his life and after she passed away he missed her greatly!

His mother; Joan Ruger of Auburn.
Sister and brother-in-law; Anna Marie and James Friend of Garrett.
His niece; Amy and Michael Ritchie of Goshen.
His nephew; Christopher and Andrea Friend of Warsaw.
Three great nephews; Dylan, Landon and Theodore.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January, 6, 2022 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. *The family has asked that those coming to visitation and or the funeral service please wear masks and social distance*
Funeral Services will be held immediately following the visitation at 2:00 PM at the funeral home in Waterloo with Steven Ruger officiating.
Burial will take place with his wife Ruth at the Hamilton Cemetery.
