Ellen M (Skelly) Wilson

Waterloo – Ellen M Wilson, 82 of Waterloo passed away Monday November 17, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 10, 1943 in Auburn to Earl and Arcille (Smith) Skelly.

Ellen was Office Manager at Mossberg Industries in Garrett for 29 years before retiring on December 31, 2004.

She attended the Auburn Church of Christ and loved to travel. She enjoyed playing Bunco with friends from the Waterloo area.

Ellen married Steven Wilson on September 21, 1963 in Waterloo and he passed away December 24, 2005.

She is survived by 2 sons and daughter-in-law’s, Roger L and Sandy Wilson of Waterloo and James S and Lorrie Wilson of Fuquary Varina, North Carolina; 5 grandchildren, Tyler Wilson, Chelsea (Paul) Marshall, Allison (Andrew) Urick, Bridgette Wilson and Abigal Wilson; 2 step granddaughter’s, Kindra Bidwell and Brittany (Brandyn) Hicks and their families;6 great grandchildren, Sydney Marshall, Carter Marshall, Dawson Marshall, Olivia Urick, Madison Urick and Garrett Urick; 2 sisters and a brother, Sue Reinoehl of Butler, Dianna Owen of Rushville and Donald (Kathy) Skelly of Ashley; 3 sister-in-law’s, Marlene Skelly of Hamilton, Lois Skelly of Illinois and Debbie Stilwell of Fort Wayne.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 2 infant daughters, Karen and Sharon Wilson, a great grandson, Hunter Marshall and 3 brothers, Eldon Skelly, John Skelly and Larry Skelly.

Services will be 11 AM Tuesday November 25, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN. with burial to follow in Waterloo Cemetery. Calling is 2 to 7 PM Monday at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Ellen to the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home or Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana.
