Auburn – Ellice Davidson, 99, went to be with her Lord on August 27, 2025 with her family at her side.
She was born April 19, 1926 in Perry County, Kentucky to Beckham and Tempie (Rowe) Fugate.
Ellice retired in 1988 from Essex Corporation in Auburn, she also worked for the former Auburn Rubber Company.
She was a member of the Waterloo Freewill Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, shopping and babysitting.
Ellice married Dock Davidson on December 11, 1948 in Salem, Indiana and he passed away September 27, 2018.
She is survived by 3 sons and daughter-in-law’s, Fred and Mildred Miller of Auburn, David and Karen Davidson of Waterloo and Beckham and Brenda Davidson of Auburn; 9 grandchildren, Michelle (Brad) Pfefferkorn, Angela (Andy) Culbertson, Skylar Davidson, Tyson Davidson, Miranda Hayes, Jason Davidson, Lisa (John) Schenkel, Todd Froelich and Marcene Heckman, 10 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, Harold Wayne Davidson, brother, Hiram Fugate and a sister, Millie Thomas.
Services will be 2 PM, Wednesday, September 3, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home Wednesday. Rev Ron Stambaugh will officiate. Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
