Gary Alley

Gary Alley, 73 of Hudson, passed away on Saturday, January 10, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born on May 19, 1952 in Martin, Kentucky to Waves and Jenny (Jones) Alley.  He was a graduate of McDowell High School in McDowell, Kentucky.

Gary married Barbara D. Hughart on July 19, 2005 in Ashley.  She resides in Hudson. 

He owned and operated his own camper and RV business for 15 years, retiring in 2023.  He enjoyed hauling because he and Barb could travel together and it gave them a chance to see the country.

Gary enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids and he was an avid Kentucky Basketball fan.   

Survivors include:

His wife, Barbara Alley of Hudson.

His mother, Jenny Alley of McDowell, Kentucky.

Son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Shawn Hughart of Hamilton.

Three grandchildren and their spouses, Jacob Hughart, Noah and Amber Hughart and Grace and Logan Tropp.

Five great grandchildren, Lincoln Hughart, Levi, Hughart, Remington Tropp, Savannah Tropp and Oaklynn Tropp.

Brother, James Alley of McDowell, Kentucky.

Sister, Dottie Alley of McDowell, Kentucky.

One nephew, Zac and Emily Alley and their son, Ledger Alley.

Gary was preceded in death by his father, Waves Alley.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held at on Thursday at 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Waterloo.

Burial will take place at the Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Edgerton, Ohio.
