Glen McDonald Obituary

Corunna – Glen Richard McDonald, 83, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at his home in Corunna.

He was born December 11, 1941 in Corunna to Harold and Pauline (Mitchell) McDonald.

Glen was a 1960 graduate of Waterloo High School and was a US Army Veteran serving from November 1963 to November 1966.

He retired from Conrail Railroad.

He was a Bigfoot enthusiast and enjoyed feeding wildlife, pigeons and horse track betting. He was a Chicago Cubs fan and liked to watch Hoosier Basketball.

Glen is survived by his wife, Cat Placencia. They were married September 18, 2001 in Coldwater, Michigan.

He is also survived by 2 sons, their wives and 2 daughters, Jim and Teri McDonald of Ridgecrest, California, Glen and Jamie McDonald of Butler, Suzie McDonald of Corunna and Tabatha Stumbo of Waterloo; 33 grandchildren and great grandchildren; 3 brothers and their wives, Jim and Betty McDonald of Waterloo, Kenny and Karen McDonald of Kendallville,  Lynn and Becky McDonald of Corunna and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parent, a daughter Tonya Hoeffel, Sister, Wynemia Greer and a brother, Charlie McDonald.

Services will be 2 PM Monday, March 17, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN with burial to follow the service in Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna.
