Gloria Lou David

Gloria Lou David, age 88 of Auburn passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022 at Auburn Village Rehabilitation Center.

Ms. David was born on June 1, 1933 in Muskegon, Michigan to M. Laverne and Luella M. (Eichenberg) David.

She enjoyed traveling.  She had been able to travel to 47 of the 50 states with her family.  She took mission trips to Austria, Germany, Canada and Puerto Rico.  She also toured Europe sightseeing France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and England.  Gloria also enjoyed nature and being outdoors.  She enjoyed camping and backpacking with family and bird watching and watching ducks on the lake. 

Gloria like collecting, restoring and studying antiques.  Her many talents also included making and collecting quilts, sewing, making arrangements and many other crafts, sing with her sister, listening to music and even playing the accordion.  She was an avid reader and she loved reading history books.  Most of all she loved spending time with her family and friends. 

Survivors Include:

Daughter and son-in-law; Kelly and Bart Stoner of Leo.

Son and daughter-in-law; David and Pamela Munn of Elkhart.

Five grandchildren; Emily Stoner, Katelynn Stoner, Zachary Stoner, Jessica Munn and Mikayla Munn.

Eleven nieces and nephews.

Sister; Marlene David of Auburn.

Brother-in-law; Terry DeNio of Muskegon.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister and brother-in-law; Phyllis and Lynn Cressler, Sister; Linda DeNio and brother and sister-in-law; Dennis and Beverly David.

There will be no visitation or services at this time.
