Harold T. Jarnagin, 75 of Auburn, passed away on unexpectedly on Monday, February 16, 2026 at Parkview DeKalb in Auburn.
He was born on February 3, 1951 in Kendallville to Herbert and Margaret (Isham) Jarnagin.
Harold married Sandra Miller on November 9, 1985 and she resides in Auburn.
He worked for Auburn Gear in Auburn and Simpsons in Ohio, both for several years. Harold enjoyed taking his boat out to go fishing and watching sports. Family was very important to him and he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandkids and great grandkids.
Survivors include:
His wife, Sandy Jarnagin of Auburn.
Son, Steven Nelson (Jamie Miller) of Fort Wayne.
Daughter, Missy Secrest (Frank Shelton) of Hudson.
Five grandchildren, Morgan Shilts, Evan Nelson, Brayden Nelson, Keegan Secrest and Dylan Secrest.
Ten great grandchildren, Rylie, Ryker, Holden, Carter, William, Henry, Zayden, Bailey, Thomas and Oaklin.
One sister, Bernice Steller of Auburn.
Many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Harold was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Scott Jarnagin; one sister, Julie Huffman and four brothers, Gary Jarnagin, Mitch Jarnagin, Terry Jarnagin and Tim Jarnagin.
The family will receive friends and family on Monday, February 23, 2026 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.
Burial will take place following the gathering at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Memorial donations may be made in memory of Harold to the Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help Sandy with expenses.
