Helen J (DeWitt) Renfrow

Auburn – Helen J Renfrow, 74, of Auburn, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at Parkview DeKalb Hospital in Auburn.

She was born October 22, 1951 in Garrett to Charles and Ellen (Rowe) DeWitt.

Helen was a DeKalb High School Graduate and had worked at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn before retiring in 2013.

She enjoyed reading and doing word search puzzles.

Helen is survived by her 5 children, Charles O. Renfrow of Waterloo, Joseph L (Sheila) Renfrow of Fort Wayne, Christopher D. Renfrow of Auburn, Barbara E (Daniel) Furrow of Waterloo and Karen K (Christopher) Spillers of Auburn; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 sisters and 3 brothers, Hazel DeWitt, Mary Ellen Huff, Loise Renfrow, Shirley Frost, Carl DeWitt, Joseph DeWitt and Forrest DeWitt.

Services will be 2 PM Monday, February 16, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN. Burial will follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn. Calling is 2 hours prior to the service Monday from 12 to 2 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Helen to the family or funeral home to help with expenses.
