Irma Lee (Hudson) Damron

Irma Lee Damron, 78 of Butler passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

Irma was born on October 25, 1946 in Pikeville, Kentucky to Sollie and Chloe (Tackett) Hudson. 

She married Moody Damron on May 13, 1964 in Virgie, Kentucky and he resides in Butler.

Irma worked at Dura Automotive Systems in Butler for over 30 years.  She enjoyed gardening and feeding birds so that she could sit and watch them for hours.  Irma was a very giving person and she enjoyed providing a meal and gifts to those she loved and strangers as well, especially at Christmas time.  She will be greatly missed!

Survivors include: 

Son and daughter-in-law, Tim and Lisa Damron of Edgerton, Ohio.

Son, Kevin Damron of Butler.

Eight grandchildren, Annie, Kayleigh, Missi, Chelsea, Jesse, Brandon, Hannah and Shelby.

14 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.

Sister, Glo Barnette of Woodstock, Ohio.

Her special friend and caretaker, Barb Smith.

Numerous nieces, nephews and other loving extended family members.

Irma was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Damron; granddaughter, Amber Conway and 15 brothers and sisters.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 5, 2024 from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with a service at 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo. 

Burial will take place at the Butler Cemetery.

Memorials donations may be given in care of the Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help the family with final expenses.
