Jacqueline L "Jackie" (Ordway) Evans

Auburn – Jacqueline L Evans, 67 passed away Friday, January 23, 2026.

She was born February 1, 1958 in Auburn to Jerry and Janet (Roose) Ordway.

Jackie worked at Nucor Building Systems for 33 years before retiring in 2023.

She liked spending time in her garden and crocheting but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family and friends.

Surviving is a son, Tyler Evans of Auburn; brother-in-law, Tom Roundtree and a nephew Michael Riley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Janine Riley.

Services will be at 10 AM Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706 with burial to follow the service in Waterloo, Cemetery, Waterloo. Calling is Wednesday from 3 to 7 PM and also 1 hour prior to the service Thursday from 9 to 10 at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Jackie to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
