Janice M. (Henderson) Reed

Janice M. Reed, age 75, of Auburn passed away on Friday, September 17, 2021 at home surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Reed was born on June 21, 1946 in Waterloo to Alvin and Helen (Pankop) Henderson.  She was a 1964 graduate of Waterloo High School.

She married James LeRoy Reed August 22, 1964 in Auburn.  He preceded her in death on June 14, 2003.

Mrs. Reed worked at Shoprite Grocery Store in Ashley for many years retiring in 2000.  She like making homemade candies, playing bingo and crocheting.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. 

Survivors Include:

Son; James and Leslie Reed of Auburn.

Three grandchildren; Robbie Reed, Skyler Reed and Gabriella Reed.

Brother and sister-in-law; James and Barb Anderson of Waterloo.

Many loving extended family members.

Her best friend; Lisa McHenry of Garrett.

She was preceded in death by her father; Alvin Henderson, her mother; Helen Anderson, her husband; James LeRoy Reed, one son; Patrick Casey Reed, one sister; Karen Wieman and one brother; Alan Henderson.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street in Waterloo.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021at 11:00 AM with Rev. Ron Stambaugh officiating.

Burial will take place at Fairfield Cemetery in Corunna.

Memorial Donations may be made to the Woodburn Christian Children’s Home, 24902 Notestine Road, Woodburn, Indiana 46797.
