Waterloo – Jean A Eddingfield, 82 of Waterloo passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.
She was born June 30, 1942 in Huntington, IN to Clarence D and Marguerite (Burns) Eddingfield.
Jean was an Ashley high School graduate.
Over her lifetime she worked at Grants Department Store in Fort Wayne, Magnavox in Fort Wayne and Halex in Hamilton before retiring in 2008.
She was a member of Barkers Chapel United Methodist Church in Waterloo and the former Butler Eagles.
She enjoyed her flowers, camping and traveling. She loved bird watching, especially Hummingbirds.
Jean is survived by her twin sister Joyce Lehman and her husband Richard of Silver Lake, IN, sister Cherry Eddingfield and a sister-in-law, Sherri Eddingfield; several nieces and nephews and her lifelong friend, Gloria Myers of Waterloo.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Tim Eddingfield.
Services will be 3 PM Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793 with burial in the Waterloo Cemetery to follow the service. Calling is 1 hour prior to the service Thursday from 2 to 3 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Jean to Barkers Chapel United Methodist Church.
