Jeffery "Skip" Stayer

Jeffery “Skip” Stayer,  passed away on April 5, 2025, peacefully in Waterloo, Indiana.

Jeff, lovingly known by friends and family as Skip, was born December 28th, 1962, at Cameron Hospital in Angola, Indiana.  Jeff was one of five children born to James and Patricia (Frick) Stayer.

Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and grandchildren as they grew. Professionally, he worked with masonry while enjoying home improvement and other projects in his spare time. As a dog lover, he leaves behind his four-legged best friend, Zeus, who was his constant companion.   

Jeff was the father of two surviving sons, Tyson Stayer of Garrett, Indiana, and Brason (Tammy Fugate) Stayer of Kendallville, Indiana.

Surviving siblings include one sister, Brenda Stayer, and two brothers, Randy and Terry Stayer. Jeff was preceded in death by both parents and an older brother, Ronald Stayer. 

Due to wishes, there will be a memorial at a later date to Celebrate the Life of Jeffery “Skip” Stayer.
