Jeffrey L. Baird

Jeffrey L. Baird, 59, passed away Monday, November 22, 2021, at his home in rural Waterloo.

He was born March 17, 1962, in Auburn to Charles and Shirley (Bowman) Baird. They both have preceded him in death.

Jeff worked in construction where he owned and operated Baird Enterprises for 15 years.

He had a life-long passion for racing and loved spending time with his family and dogs.

Surviving are five children and their spouses, Adam (Nicki) Baird of Tennessee, Sara (Gustavo) Calderon of Ohio, Christina (Mont Rotonio Kennedy) Baird of South Carolina, Kaitlyn Baird of Indiana and Mhegann Herendeen of Indiana; 11 grandchildren, Travis Isom, Avery Isom, Alivyah Kennedy, Vermont Kennedy, Riley Herendeen, Layla Frigo, Sawyer Baird, Emma Baird, Antonio Calderon, Aliyah Baird and Gabriella Baird; and two brothers and sisters-in-law, Charles “Kip” and Darlene Baird of Auburn and Randy and Laura Baird of Fremont.

The family will receive friends from 4 – 6 p.m. Friday, January 28, 2022, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.

There will be no funeral service.
