Jerry G Wilson

Auburn – Jerry G Wilson, 75 of Auburn passed away Friday, November 8, 2024 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett.

He was born November 25, 1948 in Norton, Virginia to Herbert J and Mary E. (Elliott) Wilson.

Jerry was a Tool Maker for Dura Automotive in Butler. He liked photography and worked professionally for a time working weddings, parties and other gatherings.

He loved to travel and enjoyed creating different things with Legos. What he enjoyed most was spending time outdoors, cookouts and spending time with his grandkids that he loved dearly.

He married Joyce E Locke on October 15, 2001 in Wise, West Virginia and she passed away February 10, 2022.

He is survived by a daughter, Tracy A Wilson (Robb Peverley) of Auburn and a son Jeffrey S Wilson of Auburn; 4 grandchildren, Justin Wilson, Coltin Snavley, Megan Snavley (Jason Dale) and Michael Wilson; 7 great grandchildren, McKenna, Chase, Beau, Jaxon, Braylee, Braxton and Brielle; brother, William J Wilson of Kendallville; 2 sisters, Loretta Wilson of LaGrange, and Carolyn Prucinsky of Kendallville.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, a son Nathan D Wilson, grandson, Cooper Scott Wilson, 2 brothers Herbert J Wilson, Jr and Andy R Wilson and a sister, Linda L Piggott. S

ervices are 3 PM Thursday, November 14, 2024 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706. Burial will follow the service in Roselawn Cemetery in Auburn. Calling is 3 hours prior to the service from 12 to 3 PM at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Jerry to the Parkview Hospice.
