Waterloo – Jon Kent Nodine, 58, passed away Thursday December 4, 2025 at his home in Waterloo.
He was born September 3 1967 in Fort Wayne to Glen and Patricia (Rhodes) Nodine.
Jon was an excellent cook. He enjoyed camping, NASCAR, and watching sports, the Chicago Bears and Cubs were his favorites. The most important thing to Jon was his family. He was a good provider and loved his family dearly. He especially enjoyed being a grandpa to his granddaughter, Lydia.
He was very handy and shared his knowledge whether it was helping his son work on cars or the maintenance workers at his apartment complex.
Jon is survived by 2 sons and a daughter in law, Alexander Nodine of Waterloo and Nicholas and Amanda Nodine of Spencerville; granddaughter, Lydia Nodine; sister, Ralana (Brad) Pontius of Garrett; sister-in-law, Mary Jane Nodine of Garrett and several Nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Michael Nodine and a sister and brother-in-law, Cynthia and Forrest DeWitt.
Services will be 7 PM Tuesday December 9, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793. Visitation is 4 hours prior to the service from 3 to 7 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Jon to Feller and Clark Funeral Home to help with expense’s or Riley Hospital.
