Joseph S. Graves, age 63, of Auburn passed away suddenly on Friday, October 16, 2020 at his Auburn home.
Mr. Graves was born on July 21, 1957 in Fort Wayne to Leslie and Retta (Schuster) Graves.
He married Laura Johnson on November 6, 1982 at Meese Chapel United Methodist Church in Auburn. She resides in Auburn.
Joe had worked for Home Guard Industries in Grabil and was currently working at Multimatic Manufacturing in Butler. He and Laura attended New Hope Christian Center in Waterloo. In his early days Joe played guitar and sang in a few Christian gospel bands, Backroads and Testimony to name a few. He enjoyed being outside enjoying nature and riding his motorcycle. Joe always had a project going on and he liked to refurbish and restore things and sell them. He loved spending time with his family. Taking a moment to enjoy and appreciate to small things in life was very important to him.

Son; Leslie Graves (Nakia Cochran) of Auburn.
17 grandchildren.
Sister and brother-in-law; Charlene and Colin Rose of Bryan, Ohio.
Sister; Esther Graves of Hamilton.
Sister; Jennifer Graves of Newville.
Brother; Danny Graves (June Fifer) of Hamilton.
Many nieces and nephews.
Mother-in-law; Sue Johnson of Waterloo.
Brother-in-law and sister-in-law; Tom and Ani Johnson of Waterloo.
Brother-in-law; Craig Johnson of Auburn.
He was preceded in death by parents and his father-in-law; Warren Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Additional visitation will be held on Wednesday afternoon from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Feller and Clark Funeral Home in Auburn with Pastor Ralph Diehl officiating.
Burial will take place in the Waterloo Cemetery in Waterloo.
