Karen Sue (Griffin)Patton, was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus on August 2, 2025. Being bitten by a tick in 1990, she had a long and difficult battle with Lyme Disease.
Even though life was not always kind, Karen never wavered in her Christian faith. She knew Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried in a tomb, and rose again on the third day. Prayer was a staple in her daily life, always praying for her family & friends.
Karen never complained, She had a smile that could light up a room and a hug that warmed every heart. Though we know she's in Heaven and is dearly missed, we will carry her in our hearts until we meet again.
Karen was born July 17, 1958, in Lima, OH, the daughter of Marilyn J. (O'Brien) Griffin. Raised in a loving single parent family, she was welcomed home by her grandparent's Beatice L (Livengood O'Brien) and Herschel E Link, and her sister, Sheryl (Sherry) Griffin and later her brother Jeffrey (Jeff) Stelzer completed our family.
On February 28, 1997 she married the love of her life, Noah Patton, and God blended two families into one that day.
Karen will always be remembered for her selfless and generous heart, always puting others before herself. she had a contagious joy and lived a life full of grace and compasion.
She had a lifelong love of reading romance novels and music of all genre's... On any given day or evening, she enjoyed jam sessions with her husband, Noah, playing the harmonica and her brother, Jeff, playing the guitar, while her beautiful vocals sang the lyrics...
