Karen Darlene (Szeman) Teegarden

Karen Darlene Teegarden, 61 of Auburn, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2024 at Parkview Randallia Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born on June 14, 1963 in Angola, Indiana.

Survivors include: 

Daughter and son-in-law, Ashley and Josh Slater of Waterloo.

Son, Doug Hawn of Garrett.

12 grandchildren.

Sister and brother-in-law, Sheila and Mark Elkins of Ashley.

Sister and brother-in-law, Jayne and Thomas Gushwa of Middlebury, Indiana.

Brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Renee Szeman of Fremont.

Sister, Lois Hatton of Morristown, Tennessee.

Sister, Lori Szeman of St. Joe.

Sister, Trinka Rinard of Kendallville.

Brother, Michael Szeman of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Brother and sister-in-law, Branden and Krystal Hawn of Auburn.

Many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.

Karen was preceded in death by her father and stepmother, Donald and Dale Szeman; her mother and stepfather, Laura and Derryl Hawn; daughter, Ayla Szeman; nephew, Jimmy Szeman and brother-in-law, Lloyd Hatton.

Per Karen’s request, no services will be held.
