Kenneth Wayne “Zeke” Brown, 72, of Auburn, passed away, Monday, August 3, 2026, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on March 15, 1954, in Auburn, Indiana to Edwin and June (Mulholland) Brown.
During his youth, he was an active member of the Boy Scouts.
Zeke was a 1973 graduate of DeKalb High School. He then received a Bachelor of Science Degree from ITT Technical Institute in Fort Wayne in 1986.
Zeke was a lifetime DeKalb County Farmer. After graduating from high school, he spent the summer pumping gas at his uncle's service station in Kendallville. He also worked for the City of Auburn Electric Department for a few years and worked several years at Magnavox in Auburn.
Throughout his life, he owned and operated several different companies including Classic City Wire, an ice sculpture company, and Auburn's Premium Motorhome and RV Storage, where his hard work and dedication reflected his passions in life.
He found joy in attending auto races, farm auctions, concerts, the ACD Festival, and the DeKalb County Fair. More than anything, he treasured time spent with his family.
Surviving are a daughter, Kena Marie Baird of Wisconsin; granddaughter, Keniah Janea Raines; nephew and his wife, Derrick E. and Lynne Brown of Fort Wayne; niece, Brooke O. Brown of Auburn; and two great nieces, Lucy Brown and Lilianne Brown.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Robert L. Brown.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Jerry Weller officiating.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from noon - 2 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #566 of Auburn.
