Waterloo – Kenneth “Kenny” L Oliver, Sr., 78 of Waterloo passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at DuPont Hospital in Fort Wayne with his family at his side.
He was born in Steuben County on July 6, 1947 to Lyman H and Hazel (Locke) Oliver.
Kenny was a graduate of Northside High School.
He worked at Glenbrook Dodge for 5 years, Dana Corporation as a machinist for 10 years, DeKalb Engineering for 8 years as a machinist then American Hoist for 18 years as a machinist before retiring in 2009.
He was a member of Hamilton Wesleyan Church.
Kenny loved old cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. What he loved the most was spending time with his wife, kids and grandkids. He had 2 special dogs he loved, Angel and Sugar.
Kenny is survived by his wife, Ellen L (Clevenger) Oliver. They were married September 13, 2003 in Metz, IN.
He is also survived by 2 sons, Kenneth “Kenny” L Oliver, Jr of Fort Wayne and Kevin S. (Deanna) Oliver of Fort Wayne; 6 step children, Bob (Gayle) Scott of Fort Wayne, Terry L (Tara) Marshall of Kendallville, Steve R. (Stacey) Marshall of Woodburn, Gary L (Annette) Marshall of New Haven, Paul J. (Chelsea) Marshall of Auburn and Melissa J Marshall of Auburn; 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; a brother, Raymond (Judy) Oliver of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Brenda Oliver, grandson, Hunter Marshall, 2 brothers, Paul Oliver and Ronald Oliver and a brother-in-law, Mark Clevenger.
Services will be at 5 PM Saturday, June 6, 2026 at Hamilton Wesleyan Church, 4001 Terry Lake Road, Hamilton, IN 46742. Calling is 3 hours prior to the service Saturday from 2 to 5 PM at the church. Memorials can be given in memory of Kenny to the family to help with expenses. Feller and Clark Funeral Home of Auburn is assisting the family with arrangements.
