Kosmas A. Petridis

Kosmas A. Petridis, 68 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Friday, April 17, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. 

He was born on July 5, 1957 in the village of Tihio in Kastoria in the Macedonia Region of Greece to Ahilleas and Aikaterini (Terpsis) Petridis. 

Kosmas married Agni Kozinas on July 26, 1981 in Greece.  She resides in Fort Wayne. 

He worked for Aunt Millie’s / Perfection Bakery in Fort Wayne for 33 years, retiring in 2017.  He was a member of the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Wayne.

Kosmas enjoyed watching the Greek PAOK Soccer League games on TV, gardening, cooking, going for drives in the country, going for walks, singing, dancing and listening to Greek music and spending time at the beach.  Most important to Kosmas was spending time with his family, especially his granddaughters. 

Survivors include:

His wife of 45 years, Agni Petridis of Fort Wayne.

Daughter, Kathy Petridis of Fort Wayne.

Daughter and son-in-law, Dina Petridis Drysdale and Brad Drysdale of Fort Wayne.

Son and daughter-in-law, Ahilleas and Hailey Petridis of Fort Wayne.

Two granddaughters, Zyllah and Olivia and he was filled with excitement to have two more on the way. 

Sister and brother-in-law, Sofia and Maki Bellos of Greece.

Mother-in-law, Dina Kozinas of Fort Wayne.

Kosmas was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law, Nick Kozinas.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 27, 2026 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.  Additional visitation will be held an hour prior to the service on Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.

A Trisagion Service will be held following the visitation at 7:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, 110 East Wallen Road in Fort Wayne with Fr. Cosmin Sicoe officiating.

Burial will take place at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Kosmas to DaVita Kidney Care, Fort Wayne North, 415 East DuPont Road, Fort Wayne.
