Laura Lee (Walsh) Smith

Laura Lee Smith, 74 of Auburn, passed away on Monday, May 18, 2026 at her Auburn home.

She was born on June 30, 1951 in Saginaw, Michigan to Willard and Zelda Jane (Harris) Walsh.  Laura was a 1969 graduate of Arthur Hill High School in Saginaw. 

Over the years, Laura worked as a bank teller and a factory line worker. 

Laura is survived by her son, Adam C. Jex; her daughter, Abby Jex; many grandchildren and her brother and sister-in-law, William and Beth Walsh. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Stephanie Jex.
