Obituary
Lawrence J. Czaja, 69, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
He was born on August 28, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan to Thaddeus and Agnes (Shonk) Czaja.
Lawrence was a disabled veteran of the United States Air Force and Indiana National Guard. He received several awards from the United States Air Force for his writing and journalism.
Lawrence enjoyed music, everything Marvel, comic book collecting and getting together with his family.
Surviving are two children, Marcy (Brent) Boger of Auburn, and Alex (Aubree Hall) Czaja of Auburn; two grandchildren, Nicholas Yoder of Auburn and Emily Boger of Auburn; and a brother, Joe Czaja of Butler.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Ted Czaja and Ron Czaja; and a sister-in-law, Karen Czaja.
Services will be at a later date.
