Linda Barnett, 75, of Garrett, passed away Sunday, February 9, 2025, at Millers Merry Manor in Garrett.
She was born October 24, 1949, in Hazard, Kentucky to Willie and Sally (Eversole) Day.
Linda was married to Jack Barnett for 56 years, and he passed away March 10, 2024.
She started working for Garrett Flexible in Garrett and then went to work in the paint room for Cooper Standard in Auburn, retiring after 28 years of service. After her retirement, she worked for Walmart in Auburn and later in the cafeteria at Garrett High School.
Linda was a very kind person to everyone.
Surviving are three siblings, Kathy and Otis Hunter of Garrett, Bernice McCosh of Garrett and Timothy and Vickie Day of Avilla; several nieces and nephews; and her little puppy, Lady.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; four brothers, Charles Day, Denny Day, Kelly Day and Elmer Day; and two sisters, Rebecca Margaret Day and Viola Conley.
Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with Pastor Earl Bolen officiating.
Burial will take place at Corunna Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 – 3 p.m. Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
