Marjorie A. Koch, age 89 of Harlan, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at The Cedars in Leo.
She was born on August 18, 1936 in Grabill, Indiana to Henry and Ethel (McNabb) Sauder. She was a 1955 graduate of Leo High School.
Marjorie was an active lifetime member of Crossview Church in Grabill where she served and volunteered her time in many different capacities. She worked at Woodlan High School in the cafeteria as a cook, retiring in 2009 after 34 years of service. She liked to write and keep journals as well as being a talented artist who enjoyed painting. She also enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survivors include:
Son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Pam Koch of Leo.
Daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Steve Smith of Fort Wayne.
Daughter-in-law, Susan Koch of Huntertown.
Seven grandchildren and their spouses, Melissa and Shane Stucky, Rev. Ryan and Nicole Koch, Stephanie and Joe Clarey, Ashlee Edinger, Brandon Koch, Hannah Koch and Aubree Smith.
Ten great grandchildren.
Brother, Paul Sauder of Lewiston, Idaho.
Brother, Sam Sauder of Leo.
Sister and brother-in-law, Dorothy and Bill Moore of Wolcottville.
Brother-in-law, Richard Hill of Fort Wayne.
Many nieces, nephews and other extended family members.
Marjorie is preceded in death by her parents; her son, Scott Koch; sister and brother-in-law, Iris and Robert Griggs; brother and sister-in-law, Joe and Betty Sauder; sister, Marianne Hill and two sisters-in-law, Esther Sauder and Carole Sauder.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 4, 2025 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Crossview Church, 12532 Grabill Road in Grabill. Additional visitation will be held on Friday morning one hour prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM at the church with her grandson, Ryan Koch officiating.
Burial will take place at the Leo Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be given in memory of Marjorie to Crossview Church, 12532 Grabill Road, Grabill, Indiana 46741.
