Mark Lee Knott, 69, passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at his home in Waterloo.
He was born on January 7, 1957, in Auburn, Indiana to H. Robert and Marjorie E. (Brown) Knott.
Mark was a self-employed painter.
He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion Post 97 of Auburn, and the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #566 of Auburn.
Mark enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing and other various recreational activities.
Surviving are three sons and their spouses, Jeremy and Leisa Fluke of Fort Wayne, Mark Buss of Garrett, and Eric and Jessica Buss of Auburn; 11 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two Siblings, Vickie and Tom Laughlin of Texas, and Robert and Brenda Knott of Waterloo; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Pamela G. Knott; and grandparents, Robert and Ruby Brown and Harry and Mildred Knott.
A celebration of Mark’s life will take place at a later date.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
