Marsha Jane Rosenbalm, 83, passed away, Friday, May 8, 2026, at her home in Auburn.
She was born July 22, 1942, in Indianapolis, Indiana to Robert and Lavon (Turner) Robinson. Marsha was raised in California and Illinois.
Marsha married Melvin Rosenbalm on January 14, 1961, in Mt. Morris, Illinois.
She started her career as a crafter and moved to help her mother with a craft shop, Made By Hand. She co-owned the shop with her mother, Lavon, and daughter, Jessica, for 14 years.
Marsha became an accredited tole painter and landscape artist. She met and painted with people such as Bob Ross, Gary and Kathy Jenkins, Pricilla Hauser and Sherry Nelson.
She was a member of Dayspring Church in Auburn.
Marsha was nominated and honored to be a torch bearer during the Indiana Bicentennial Torch Relay in 2016.
Marsha enjoyed being a Girl Scout Troop Leader for all three of her daughters. She enjoyed volunteering local at RSVP along with helping her grandchildren with their various activities and projects. She also loved butterflies, plants and gardening.
Surviving are her husband, Melvin Rosenbalm of Auburn; three daughters and their spouses, Jessica and Todd Hart of Auburn, LaDonna Carpenter of Rockford, Illinois, and Sandra and Jeff Berry of Patoka, Illinois; sister, Linda Bluege of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin; three brothers and their spouses, Jim and Mary Kay Robinson of Rochester, New York, Darrell and Linda Robinson of Prophetstown, Illinois, and Larry and Kathy Robinson of Independence, Oregon; 16 grandchildren, Keller Haas, Michael Hart, Skyler (Grace) Haas, Chandler Haas, Shawn Hart, Aliczander (Oliva) Haas, Stephanie List, Alan Kendall, Theresa Carpenter, Carl Mickelson, Mark (Tina) Berry, Kristin (Jordon) McClaine, Kayla (John) Aitkens, Sheryl Berry, Danielle Warren and Jennifer White; 26 great grandchildren, Purity, Edsel, Zaiden, Malachai, Magnolia, Leo, Nathaniel, Jordyn, Xavier, Mason, Lillian, Zayden, Kysun, Peytyn, Karis, Lyric, Braeyln, Nolan, Landyn, Mailee, Parker, Tyson, Karissa, Sage, Eve, and Devin; and two great-great grandchildren, Ashtyn and Arlo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Phil Robinson; and three grandsons, Andrew Carpenter, Daniel Carpenter, and Patrick Mickelson.
A celebration of Marsha’s life will be Saturday, July 25, 2026, at Eckhart Park, 1501 S. Cedar St., Auburn. A time of sharing along with Marsha’s brother, Jim, saying a prayer will begin at 11 a.m. Kindly RSVP to Jessica Hart at 260-249-7286.
