Mary Margaret (Hitt) Gould

Auburn – Mary Margaret Gould, 81, passed away Tuesday May 13, 2025 at her home in Auburn.

She was born July 30, 1943 in Montgomery County, Maryland to Jack L and Viola F (Lee) Hitt.

Margaret was a graduate of Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, Maryland and maintained many close lifelong friendships.

She worked for several Satellite Communication Companies in Rockville, Maryland. Upon retirement she moved to Arizona and she held fond memories of her time and relationships there. She eventually moved to Indiana and became a member of County Line Church of God. Here she developed precious relationships with her Small Group Friends and was thrilled to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Margaret is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Teri and Tyler McKown of Auburn; 2 granddaughters, Brooke (Zachary) Peters and Emma (Tyler) Bond; great grandchildren, Emmett Peters, Eliza Peters, Eden Bond and Drew Bond; sister and brother-in-law, Jeanie and Jacques Dietz of Key West, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, former husband Jerry J Gould, son Thomas Monroe Gould, a brother, Jack L Hitt, Jr, 3 sisters, Patricia Kirby, Elizabeth Milwee and Donna Kengla.

Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn, IN 46706 with burial to follow the service in Woodlawn Cemetery, Auburn.
