Mary C. Shull, 79, of Auburn, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born June 5, 1939, in Garrett to the late Frank and Anna (Malolepspa) Bonkoski.
She married Ronald L. Shull on Sept. 3, 1960, in Garrett, and he passed away July 15, 2006.
Mary was a graduate of Garrett High School. She worked at the Garrett High School cafeteria and later retired from the Garrett Public Library.
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Auburn.
Mary enjoyed playing cards with her friends at the Heimach Center and Auburn Moose, playing bingo at the Auburn American Legion, and most of all enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving are three children, Brian J. (Sherri) Shull of Auburn, Lori A. (Larry) Park of Auburn, and Linda M. Shull of Fort Wayne; sister, Joan Carteaux of Garrett; three grandchildren, Carleen (Chad) Baldwin, Kelby Park and Brandon Park; three stepgrandchildren, Mindy Smith, Josh (Carl) Smith and Bree Park; great-grandson, Beau Baldwin; and a step-great-grandson, Zaden Zirkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; six brothers, Chester, Marion, Leonard, Raymond, Joe and Jim Bonkoski; and two sisters, Victoria Ley and Barbara Kinney.
A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 500 E. Seventh St., Auburn, with visitation from 9-10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service at the church. Father Timothy Wrozek will be officiating. Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with the rosary being recited at 7:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
