Butler – Merylee Jean Dohner, 99 of Butler passed away Saturday February 15, 2025 at Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.
She was born January 12, 1926 in Waterloo to Milton Kenneth and Issa Etta (Emerling) Keller.
She was a former employee of the Auburn Rubber Company and Universal Tool and Die in Butler. She also worked as a House Keeper and was a Home Health Aid.
Merylee was a longtime member of SeaBreeze Ministries in Butler and volunteered for a number of years at the filling Station Youth Center in Butler.
She married Norman H Dohner Sr. on July 17, 1943 in Butler and he passed away in 1979.
She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Lony Fuller, Shawn Dohner, Angela Schwartz, Raynell Duncan, Norman Dohner and Michelle Smith, and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Norman H Dohner, Jr, a grandson, a great granddaughter, 5 brothers and 6 sisters.
Services will be 2 PM Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN 46793. Burial will follow the service in Eddy Cemetery, Hamilton. Calling is two hours prior to the service from 12 to 2 Saturday at the funeral home. Rev. Lathan Snyder will be officiating.
