Michael Robert Baker Jr, 30, of Garrett, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
Michael had a smile that would light up a room, the best sense of humor, and a deep love and loyalty for his wife, family, and his many friends. His laugh was infectious and one of a kind. He enjoyed fishing, working on his car, his many tattoos, and especially listening to music. He had a cat, Mia Jade, that he loved dearly. But what he enjoyed the most was just spending all the time he could with his loved ones. He was a devoted husband, son, brother, and uncle. Family meant everything to him. Michael was able to give the gift of life through the selfless act of organ donation. He had a huge heart for others.
He was born September 28, 1994 in Auburn. His mother, Wendy Joy (Albright) Baker, survives in Garrett and his father and stepmother Michael Robert (Aeneva) Baker Sr. survive in Auburn.
Michael is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Julia Nicole (Dewitt) Baker. They were married October 17, 2020 in Auburn.
Also surviving are 2 step sons; 3 sisters and a brother, Jasmine Albright of Garrett, Samantha (Phillip Amburgey) Baker of Garrett, Vienna Baker of Auburn and Josiah Baker of Ohio; nephews and nieces, Ethan Albright, Bella Albright-Costanzo, McKenna Amburgey, Wyatt Michael Amburgey, Abby Amburgey, and Avery Amburgey; grandmother, Sandy Albright of Garrett and grandparents Marshall and Linda Brumbaugh of Garrett; father and mother-in-law, Richard “Butch” Sr and Deb Kester of Auburn and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
