Michael Hayden Dean, 72, of Auburn, passed away on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at Betz Nursing Home in Auburn.
He was born on November 27, 1953, in St. Charles, Missouri.
Michael was a veteran of the United States Army.
During his time in the military and after his discharge, Michael worked as an aircraft mechanic. He also worked in construction, building homes, and as a plumber.
Michael enjoyed taking road trips with the love of his life, Robbie, and cherished the time they spent together. He also had a special bond with his beloved dog, Cozmo.
Surviving are his life partner and soulmate, Robbie Simpson of Auburn; two children, Jason Dean of Texas and Jessica Dean of Texas; a stepson, Allen (Shannon Smith) Simpson of Auburn; many step-grandchildren; two brothers, Keith Dean of Nevada and Allen Dean of Nevada; a nephew, Joel Dean of Nevada; and a cousin, Steven Phillips of California.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles H. Dean, and his mother, Shirley (Edwards) Dean.
There are no services scheduled at this time.
