Michael James Tullis

Michael James Tullis, age 57 of Auburn, Indiana passed away from complications due to Early Onset Alzheimer’s Disease on Tuesday, July 22, 2025 with his loving wife and children by his side at home.

He was born on October 12, 1967 in Anniston, Alabama to James and Sharon (Hamilton) Tullis.  He grew up in Lima, Ohio and was a 1986 Elida High School Graduate in Elida, Ohio.

Michael honorably served his country in the United States Army.

He married Laura “Shellee” Parsons on April 21, 1990 in Hapeville, Georgia.  She and two of their young sons still reside in Auburn.

Mike formerly trained and served as a Peace Officer in Ohio and in corporate security for the Coca~Cola Company in Atlanta, Georgia as well as for Frontier Communications in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Michael was a history buff who appreciated watching movies and war documentaries. He was knowledgeable and experienced regarding physical fitness, running, and weight training. He loved listening to music, and the beach was forever his happy place.

Most of all, Michael was happiest spending time with his precious family. His saving faith in Jesus Christ was an ever-present compass and comfort in his life. Mike was a beloved husband, devoted father, and cherished son and brother. He will be deeply and eternally missed by his wife Shellee, their ten children, their grandchildren, and by his family.

Son, Joseph Tullis of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Daughter, Savannah Richardson of San Antonio, Texas.

Daughter and son-in-law, Ramah and Alex Guldbeck of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Daughter and son-in-law, Rachel and Cesar Eguizabal of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Son, Noah Tullis of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Son, Jonah Tullis of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Son, Matthew Tullis of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Son, Micah Tullis of Auburn, Indiana.

Son, Levi Tullis of Auburn, Indiana.

Five grandchildren, Olivia, Kendal, Piper, Anya and Emil.

Parents, James and Sharon Tullis of Elida, Ohio.

Brother and sister-in-law, Jeff and Chris Tullis of Lima, Ohio.

Private family services will be held on Saturday morning, August 2, 2025 at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.
