Mitchell Lawrence Stockwell, age 14, of Auburn passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 7, 2020 as the result of an automobile accident.
He was born on May 5, 2005 in Hillsdale, Michigan to Brian and Crystal (Casterline) Stockwell.
Mitch was a freshman at DeKalb High School. He loved being outside. He was a big BMX bike rider. He also enjoyed boating and fishing. Mitch loved everyone. He had a huge heart and he loved life. He was always putting others and helping others before himself. Mitch loved clothes and shoes, his mom joked that he was her little fashionista. He was a big momma’s boy but he loved his whole family, especially his older brother. He looked up to Jacob and was always trying to be like him. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family!

Uncle and aunt; Shaun and Amber Casterline of Hudson, Michigan.
Uncle; Jon Newton of London, Canada.
Uncle; John Carlisle of Jacksonville, Florida.
Uncle; David Carlisle of Jacksonville, Florida.
Several cousins and many close friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather; Johnnie Casterline.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 2:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday morning prior to the funeral service from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the church.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 11:00 AM at County Line Church of God, 7716 North County Line Rd East, Auburn, Indiana 46706 with Rev. Nicki Tackett officiating.
Memorial donations may be directed to the Auburn Skate Park in care of the Community Foundation DeKalb County, P.O. Box 111, Auburn, Indiana 46706. Mitch was very interested in getting this skate park built for the Auburn community.
