Nila Cooper Obituary
Auburn – Nila M Cooper, 77 of Auburn died Monday October 22, 2018 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Garrett.
She was born May 12, 1941 in Jonesville, Virginia to Josh and Nora (Green) Miles.
Nila worked at Electric Motors in Garrett from 1974 until her retirement in 2009.
She married Harley L Cooper on May 14, 1956 in Sneedville, Tennessee and he passed away November 29, 2007.
She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter, Harley L Cooper Jr. and his wife Sonja of Auburn, Harold E Cooper and his wife Joan of Garrett and Tammy Lynn Best and her husband Bill of Auburn; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son Johnny W Cooper, 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Services will be 11 am Thursday October 25, 2018 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center Street, Auburn with burial to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Calling is 4 to 7 Wednesday at the funeral home.
