Paris L. “Pooky” Hasty, 70, passed away on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at his home in Auburn.
He was born on Nov. 12, 1954, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Dewey and Joan (Grabner) Hasty.
Paris was a 1974 graduate of Heritage High School.
He worked as a journeyman printing pressman for Dody/Renaissance Publishing Company, retiring after several years.
Paris was an avid St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago Bears fan.
Surviving are his wife of 26 years, Beth Hasty, of Auburn; daughter, Angie White, of North Carolina; stepson, Ben (Brandi) Huth, of Kendallville; two stepdaughters, Sara McGinnis, of Wabash and Katie Platter, of Auburn; 11 step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; two sisters, Annette (Tim) Smith, of Fort Wayne and Carolyn (Denny) Conner, of Battleground; and his beloved boxers, Piper and Ellie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn.
Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m., on Monday, June 2, 2025, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorials may be directed to the American Diabetes Association or DeKalb Humane Society.
