Patty S. (Sutton) Beckley

Patty S. Beckley, 73 of Fremont, passed away on Monday, April 27, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. 

She was born on September 8, 1952 in Kendallville, Indiana to Amos and Gracie (Gibson) Sutton.  She was a 1970 graduate of Prairie Heights High School. 

Patty married Richard “Dick” Beckley on October 3, 1970 in South Milford.  Dick preceded her in death on December 26, 2025.    

She was a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange.  She enjoyed quilting, gardening, growing her flowers and watching classic movies.  Most important to Patty was her family and she loved spending time with them, especially her grandkids and great grandkids.  She will be greatly missed! 

Survivors include:

Daughter, Nichole Beckley and her fiancé, James Shaw of Coldwater, Michigan.

Daughter and son-in-law, Mary Beckley-Guldin and James Guldin of Howe, Indiana.

Son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Crystal Beckley of Colorado.

Eight grandchildren, Jordyn, Alexandra, Lane, Joshua, Caitlin, Jake, Olivia and Kamdyn.

Four great grandchildren, Amaih, Rhea, Roman and Becket with two more on the way. 

Brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Elsa Sutton of Kimmel, Indiana.

Brother and sister-in-law, Randy and Jewell Sutton of Auburn.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Dick Beckley.

A graveside committal service will be held for both Dick and Patty on Saturday, May 9, 2026 at 11:00 AM at South Milford Cemetery in South Milford.
