Phillip Russell "Slug" Scott

A beloved brother, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home, Friday, November 15, 2024, at the age of 73. 

Phillip was a graduate from Ypsilanti Public Schools, Class of 1969. 

Phillip was an avid trapper, fisherman, and hunter. He had a great love for the outdoors. He loved playing cards and spending time at the casinos.  He had a zest for life and lived it to the fullest.

Phillip is survived by his brother; two children,; nieces and nephews; four grandchildren and their spouses; six great children with a new one coming in December.

In accordance with Phillip's wishes, cremation rites have been fulfilled.  As per his request, there will be no formal service.  A private family gathering to celebrate his life will take place at a later date.
