Raymond Houser

Raymond Houser, age 88 of Fort Wayne, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at Grey Stone Health and Rehabilitation Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born on July 19, 1936 in Fort Wayne to Charles A. and Estella P. (Frakin) Houser. 

Raymond married Barbara Lou (Shanyfelt) Schoff on September 26, 1987 in DeKalb County.  She preceded him in death on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2019.

He is survived by several loving nieces, nephews and their families. 

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Wilbert Houser, Floyd Houser, Charles Houser, Jr., Donald Houser and Harold Houser; two sisters, Evelyn Robinson and Lillian Bennett and two infant brothers, Bobby and Dicky.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn. 

Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home with Pastor Mike Drury of Pine Hills Church officiating.  

Burial will take place at the Maumee Cemetery in Antwerp, Ohio.
