Mr. Woolever was the nices' gentlemen that anyone would want to know. Gene worked with my father Kenny Leas at Kraft, and after dad retired he would always ask how he was doing. I was Mr. Woolevers' banker at his bank and always looked forward to him coming in. He had a pleasant smile and a wonderful laugh and lots of funny stories to tell. He will be greatly missed.

My deepest condolences
Penny

So very sorry for your loss.   So many years lived in the neighborhood and
farmed your place.  Gene was very good about coming down to lutheran hospital to have prayer with us and visit when our children were in the hospital at various times through the years.

May God bless you and help you through this difficult time.

We''''re so sorry to hear of Pastor Woolever''''s death. For eight years, (1996-2004) I was his District Superintendent in the Fort Wayne District of the UMC. He was a well loved pastor at Meese Chapel and I enjoyed working with him. I officiated at his wife''''s funeral at Meese Chapel. Eugene truly loved the Lord and was a valued servant. He had a welcoming personality that helped him in his witness for Christ. I enjoyed several carry-in meals with him and the congregation at Meese Chapel. May all your family experience the comfort of our Lord as Eugene helped so many through the years to experience. God''''s peace to you. Larry and Wilma Ray

To the Woolever Family:
I met Gene as a newly appointed local pastor 13 years ago.  The joy of the Lord radiated in his smile.  He was truly a child of God that always shared God''s unconditional love with everyone he encountered.  May the words of Jesus comfort you:  "Do not let your hearts be troubled.  Trust in God; trust also in me.  In my Father''s house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I am going there to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am."  (John 14:1-3, NIV)  My prayers are with you.
