Richard A. Lint, 86, of Fort Wayne, passed away peacefully with his daughter by his side on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
He was born on October 10, 1939, in Butler, Indiana to John T. and Florence (Beard) Lint.
Rich was a 1957 graduate of Butler High School.
He was a salesman for Garns in Auburn and then worked for F. McConnell and Sons in New Haven, retiring after 27 years.
Rich married Judith A. Boren on August 5, 1961, in Auburn, and she passed away August 15, 2003.
He attended County Line Church of God in rural Auburn.
He enjoyed fishing, spending time with his buddies, going out for breakfast, visiting the casino, watching basketball and horse races, and being with his family, especially his beloved grandchildren.
Surviving are two daughters, Robin (Jeff) Erickson of Fort Wayne and Tara (Dan Becker) Lint of New Haven; two siblings and their spouse, Ralph and Nancy Lint of Auburn and Darlene and Leroy Jackemeyer of Auburn; six grandchildren, Rachel Martin, Christopher Jones, Colin Jones, Seth Sare, Katelin (Tre Johnson) Sare and Taylor Sare; nine great grandchildren, Tyler Bock, Xzavier Schieber, Skyla Sare, Axl Sare, Emberly Sare, Kashtyn Sare, Aaylah Sare, Peyton Johnson and Kinsley Johnson; several nieces and nephews; and his companion, Sue Scribner.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; daughter, Lisa Jones; and a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Doyle Strawn.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday, November 21, 2025, at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 Center St., Auburn, with visitation from 10 – 11 a.m. Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home. The Rev. Steve Schlatter will be officiating.
Burial will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery in Auburn.
Visitation also will be from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 Thursday, November 20, 2025 at the funeral home.
