Robert "Rob" Gibson

Robert “Rob” Gibson, died on Friday, Nov. 14, 2025, in a motorcycle accident in Sacramento, California.

Rob was born on Dec. 3, 1977, and was the son of Donald Wade Gibson and Karen K. Metcalf.

Rob married Pamela Camargo on Dec. 27, 2008. He was a loving father of three children, Isabella, Liam and Camilla.

His parents, wife, and children survive as well as aunts and uncles, Rex Metcalf, Sharon Cline, Barbara Miller, Rita Betz and Kathy Van Allen; and several cousins.

Rob was an athletic trainer for several years and traveled to China, with the United States Olympic Team in 2008. He was most recently employed as a driver for UPS.

His death will be mourned by many friends and family.

Rob has saved many lives as an organ donor, donating his heart, liver, pancreas, both kidneys as well as tissue.

A celebration of Rob’s life will be held in early spring of 2026.
