Roberta "Bobo" Allene (Dawson) Jordan

Roberta “Bobo” Allene Jordan, age 86, of Garrett passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at her Garrett home with her family by her side. 

Mrs. Jordan was born on February 11, 1932 in Corunna to Harvey and Fern (Cook) Dawson.   

She married Donald Gene Jordan on June 17, 1950 at the Garrett Church of Christ.  Donald preceded her in death on February 18, 2009.

Roberta was not only a homemaker but she was also a babysitter to over 100 children for 39 years.  She also worked at the Corunna Hardware for a short period of time and she sold Avon products as well.  Roberta was a member of Cedar Lake Church of the Brethren.  She belonged to the Jolly Dozen Girls Club for 58 years and she was a former member of Civitan International.

Son; Edward Jordan and Jan Cook of Garrett.

Son and daughter-in-law; Raymond and Leona Kratzman of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Steve and June Jordan of Auburn.

Son and daughter-in-law; Joseph and Teresa Kratzman of Scottsburg, Indiana.

Daughter; Penny Houser and Bruce White of Garrett.

Daughter-in-law; Terry Jordan of Auburn.

Grandchildren; Jennifer Jordan and Andrew Gritzmaker, Jessica Jordan, Jacqueline Jordan and Chris Davis, Ellen and Charles Flinders, Emily Fike, Erin Tarlton, Isiah and Jessica Jordan, Jasmine Jordan, Julie Jacobs, Nathan Kratzman, Tobias and Billie Jordan, Trent and Julie Jordan, Rashell and Fred Tolson, Darnell and Stephanie Kirksey, Zachariah Zelig Kratzman and Deia Marie Kratzman and LaKea and Justin Smith.

Great grandchildren; Audrie Hamblin, Rileigh Hamblin, Johnathan Hamblin, Carter and Angela Jordan, Hunter Jordan, Jayden Davis, Elaina Flinders, Miranda Flinders, Breanna Flinders, Zadie Hess, Zenna Tarlton, Skylar Jordan, Gavin Jordan, Zachary Carnahan, Tabitha Carnahan, Rayah Carnahan, Hayden Palmer, Brooklyn Jacobs, Zoey Kratzman, Hailey Jacobs, Sarah and Ben Zubke, Samantha Kahkola, Breanna Kahkola, Dakota Jordan, Konner Jordan, Trystan Jordan, Cameron Jordan, Kayleigh Jordan, Benjamin Jordan, Caleb Tolson, Grace Tolson, Luci Tolson, Miles Kirksey, Maxwell Kirksey, Addison Kirksey, Landon Myers and Braedyn Smith.

Brother-in-law; Franklin Coburn of Washington State.

Many nieces and nephews.

Her two best friends; Glenna Brown and Anna Geisinger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband; Donald Jordan, son; William Jordan, two brothers; William Dawson and Robert Dawson and one sister Beverly Coburn.

Visitation will held on Wednesday, April 25, 2018 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 1860 South Center Street in Auburn.  Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday at the church from 10:00 to 11:00AM.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Cedar Lake Church of the Brethren, 2939 County Road 15 in Auburn.

Officiating the funeral service will be Reverend Duane Grady.

Burial will take place in Corunna Cemetery.
