Ruth Ann (Kanaga) Witt

Auburn – Ruth Ann Witt, 83 of Auburn passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2026 at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

She was born July 20, 1942 in Auburn to Ralph S. and Kennis V. (Potts) Kanaga.

Ruth Ann was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Chapel Church of the Brethren, Ashley.

She married George A. Witt on January 21, 1962 in the Pleasant Chapel Church of the Brethren and he passed away May 27, 2008.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Albert C and Monique Witt of Ashley and a sister-in-law, Judy Kanaga of Eureka, Illinois.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter Lori Ann Witt in infancy and brother, Donald R. Kanaga.

Services will be 11 AM Tuesday, March 10, 2026 at Feller and Clark Funeral Home, 875 South Wayne Street, Waterloo, IN with burial to in Fairfield Cemetery, Corunna, IN. Pastor Regan Ford will be officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 7 PM Monday, March 9, 2026 at the funeral home. Memorials can be given in memory of Ruth Ann to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
